- **Up to $113,640.80 p.a. total salary package**($83,200.00 to $101,920.00^ + 11.5% super)*
- **Permanent full time**

**What are we looking for?**

Are you experienced in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of Environmental Health Services? Do you have demonstrated leadership skills as well as excellent communication skills? Do you have the ability to navigate compliance and enforcement activities? We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified Environmental Health Officer who is passionate about contributing to and making a positive impact on our Environmental Health Services programs and initiatives.

**About the Opportunity**

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:
**Essential**
- Qualifications acceptable to the Executive Director of Public Health for appointment as an Environmental Health Officer or authorised person.
- Appointment as Authorised Person and Inspector under the Environmental Protection Act 1986 or eligibility for such appointment.
- Experience in conducting Environmental Health assessments, enquiries and programs.
- Demonstrated experience in compliance and enforcement activities, including initiating and undertaking legal proceedings.
- Written and verbal communication skills including report writing.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and conflict resolution skills.
- Current ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.
