Our Client is a global diagnostic leader in Veterinary Diagnostics.
**About the role**:
This is an new opportunity located in Western Sydney, NSW. As Team Lead in the Distribution Warehouse, you will be responsible for the management of warehouse staff and to ensure all functions of warehouse operations are being adhered to.

- Flexible shift times between 6 am and 6 pm.
- Annual Bonus (performance based)
**Duties**:
- Manage the day to day operation of the warehouse
- Organise warehouse team to ensure daily service levels are achieved in regards to goods receipt, storage, pick, pack and despatch and returns
- Staff Shift Rostering
- Ensure customer orders are: picked correctly and quantities are correct, deliveries are sent via the most effective means and mode of transport (air, road & sea)
- Ensure that goods are stored as per storage conditions.
- Achieve dock to stock and DIFOT within timeframes as agreed.
- First point of contact for warehouse team queries and troubleshooting or escalation.
- Respond to queries about customer orders, stock levels, track and trace, freight cost, dimensions or general information - provide timely feedback.
- Responsible for inventory accuracy - organise and execute weekly, monthly and yearly cycle counts, timely execution of scrap orders, report low and out of stock items, manage blocked stock and returns.
- Interact with domestic and international freight companies
- Proactive management of warehouse supplies
- Ensure SAP data integrity - review open orders
- Ensure accurate customer and carrier information in database
- Maintain weekly housekeeping and cleaning activities.
- Manage waste and recycling activities.
- Actively engage in continuous improvement
- Assist with training and upskilling of staff.
- Responsible for safety of themselves, co-workers and visitors in their area and carrying out safe work processes.
- Assist in any additional tasks as required.
**Role requirements**:
- Qualification in Logistics or Operations
- At least 5 years warehouse experience in general stores dispatch, receiving and administration
- Experience supervising a team or leading hand/2IC experience preferred
- Knowledge of cycle counting, inventory management control, international shipping and transportation knowledge preferred
- Safe working practices knowledge essential
- SAP knowledge, advanced SAP troubleshooting skills desirable
communication tools essential
- IATA and dangerous goods knowledge desirable
- Forklift license desirable
- Self-initiative and problem-solving capabilities
- Display a high level of communication and well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
