**Position overview**:
Do you want to learn more about the Procurement department of the world leading industrial coatings resins company? allnex cordially invites you to join us as a **Sourcing Manager in Australia** and this role offers you an excellent opportunity to be responsible for sourcing indirect goods and services for the categories assigned by Procurement Manager ANZ, ensuring the supply to allnex is safe, competitive of high quality, reliable, ethical, and timely in line with allnex global policies. In this role, you will develop the necessary strategic and commercial aspects and strategic plan for the assigned categories in accordance with key stakeholders

**Responsibilities**:

- Full scope of responsibility of all **indirect spending including freight/logistics, Capex, and packaging **and some direct categories determined by the company's strategic requirements will also be covered.
- Ensure reliable and compliant supplier sources, competitive pricing, and timely deliveries.
- Seek for new sources and improvement opportunities to help the organization achieve the most competitive TCO.
- Implement sourcing strategies and supply agreements for assigned site(s) in alignment with Management and peers.
- Formalise supply arrangements with suppliers through contracts.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for the region's indirect goods and services, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract definition.
- Coordinate with peers to deploy those techniques at the regional, cluster, and local levels.
- Establish solid partnerships with major suppliers for allocated categories in the region.
- Ensure that supplier performance against agreed-upon key performance indicators is assessed and action plans for continuous improvement are developed.
- Manage cost-saving pipeline to meet regional/cluster targets.
- Manage DPO reduction projects within assigned categories/clusters.
- Ensure clear and consistent reporting to stakeholders on cost development and supply challenges.
- Establish risk mitigation plans for assigned categories.
- Support the business in achieving it's Sustainability goals, with management of the Modern Slavery portfolio, as well as other programs.

**Required skills and experience**:

- Proven experience in a similar role in the Chemicals/Engineering/Packaging industry is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated technical expertise and experience sourcing industrial goods and services (eg: Freight or Logistics)
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Experience working with a global project team.
- Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to communicate positively with all levels of the company.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of competence on SAP, BI, MS office, coupled with data analysis would be an added advantage.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Chemicals Engineering and/or MBA is preferred.
