Our client is a leading distributer of industrial products servicing the water and wastewater industries and they are seeking a skilled Purchasing Officer / Warehouse Officer to join their busy team in Wacol.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with suppliers and warehousing staff for timely delivery and quality standards. Also, monitor and optimise warehouse inventory levels
- Source and manage suppliers, obtain quotes, and raise purchase orders. Identify alternative products and negotiate prices.
- Create and manage purchase orders based on customer demand. Investigate and resolve customer complaints about product quality.
- Coordinate stock ordering logistics and minimise costs, stock counts, and adjustments.
- Maintain accurate supplier and product database.
- Resolve payment and invoicing issues.

**About you**:

- Prior experience in industrial products or manufacturing is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with administrative systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- While previous experience in a purchasing / warehousing environment is preferred, possessing strong business acumen is essential.
