Logan City Council - Rate: 31.53 - Temp/Casual Maxima's client, Logan City Council is looking for several Circulation Assistants for Libraries in Logan. These are on - call positions with up to 36.25 hours per week available in a casual assignment. **About the role**: - Undertake routine library duties including circulation tasks in accordance with circulation policies and procedures - Provide excellent customer service - Assist customer with the use of IT services - Assist library customers in the use of the library’s self-service facilities. - Assist with programs, activities, promotion and outreach as directed - Action relevant tasks resulting from library system generated reports, membership records, reservation processes and item repair. - Undertake accurate and efficient handling of cash, phone enquiries, bookings and/or other administrative duties as required in the library environment. - Support COVID safety measures - No minimum hours of work guaranteed **To be successful**: - Literacy and general education standards in line with secondary school leaving levels - Library or customer service experience highly regarded - Available to work a spread of hours between Monday to Saturday including evening shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays - Current paid blue card - working with children check - Able to provide details of 2 referees from recent work history - Current "C" Class License Maxima are committed to advancing workforce diversity and inclusion for all.
