**What you need to succeed**
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to a postgraduate qualification, in conjunction with extensive relevant experience managing a contemporary library service within a large, complex organisation.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in leading contemporary library services to support learning, teaching, research and client engagement.
- Excellent leadership and management skills that build and drive a collaborative, client-focussed, high performance team culture.
- Demonstrated strategic and analytical skills and the ability to drive positive change in an environment of emerging opportunities, challenges and uncertainty.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills including the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships through consultation, negotiation and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience in internal and external advocacy, delivering high quality documents, submissions and presentations to a range of audiences
