About the Department

The Enterprise Procurement department forms part of the Finance Division and is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process including supplier governance, sourcing, negotiation, contract and vendor management, as well as overseeing the purchasing operations of the bank. This is done in an open, transparent, and equitable manner in keeping with the Bank’s critical behaviours.

About the Role

Our specialist team provide a co-ordinated approach to deliver procurement as a service to the business and as Contract Manager you are responsible for the management of select technology categories, commercial activities within the category, and the key commercial representative of the organisation in relation to aligned partners. The role serves as an interface between suppliers and the business, ensuring that the banks risk and value objectives can be met.

**They will work closely to**:
Support the Senior Contracts Manager to develop and manage supplier relationships including negotiation of contracts, and other commercial agreements
Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures asl well as external regulatory and legal requirements
Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase efficiency in procurement processes, procedures and systems

We are open to various locations of Melbourne, Bendigo, Adelaide or Sydney with a hybrid model of working and flexibility environment

Experience, skills and capabilities

Sound experience in procurement or category management, within a financial institution desirable
Demonstrated experience in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and other commercial experience
Broad knowledge of APRA prudential standards CPS 231 and CPS 234 is advantageous
A strong history of stakeholder management and collaboration
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Experience in Technology specific procurement services &/or Technology Industry with reputation as trusted advisor

Highly regarded

MCIPS (CIPSA) or Project Management (e.g. PMP) qualifications.
Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field (such as, but not limited to, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Legal or IT)
