The International Logistics Shipping Supervisor is part of the GPC Asia Pacific International Logistics Team, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective shipment and delivery of products from international sources, optimising supply chain functions that support overall business objective across Australian and New Zealand.

You will be working with all business units across the GPC Asia Pacific and Motion Asia Pacific Group, managing various service providers’ performance levels on a Group basis and providing support and leadership to all business units across Australia and New Zealand.

**Main focus**:

- Maintaining reporting requirements around availability
- Providing support and assistance to all key stakeholders providing clear visibility of shipping costs and other impacts to import shipments.
- Working closely with Supply Chain Planners on availability and arrival details
- Implement best-in-class processes and procedures.
- Management of 3PL partnerships

**Main Responsibility**:

- Advise suppliers, company departments and overseas agents of ongoing status of consignments.
- Utilising the appointed providers, I.T system to maintain and retrieve shipping information.
- Direct and control the shipping in a manner that ensures timely delivery to Distribution Centres and meet company efficiency goals.
- Implement a continuous review process with key providers
- Interface with business departments to resolve any problems associated with disruptions to International Logistics network
- Weekly / monthly reporting packs on various availability and cost impacts
- Providing quoting on request and managing e2e freight costs

**Role Requirements**:

- Previous experience administrative and analytical roles (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in managing deadlines, problem solving and prioritising work
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work to ensure time is used effectively and deadlines are met
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with other staff, customers and suppliers
- Proactive and Tenacious approach to process improvement & resolving outstanding and ongoing issue
- Attention to detail; problem solving.
