**The role of a Surveillance Team Leader is to manage the SKYCITY Surveillance shift operations including employee & customer safety, operational integrity, and ensuring compliance with SKYCITY and statutory rules, policies and procedures.**

**This role is available to current Surveillance Team Members with Supervisory experience only.**

**_ MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS_**:

- Management or supervisory experience in a Casino surveillance monitor room environment, combined with excellent knowledge of Casino surveillance systems and processes, gaming knowledge/experience and Casino Math.
- Act as a role model for surveillance staff by displaying professional presentation and attitude; and engage with, motivate, coach & mentor staff at all levels of development.
- A commitment to achieving excellence for all work undertaken including personal development, goals, technical competencies & KPIs.
- An ability to relate to and liaise with different levels of management personnel.
- Possess a high level of integrity & honesty with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

**_ SPECIFIC POSITION REQUIREMENTS: _**
- Manage & review best practice Casino Surveillance & Security Control systems & processes - incl. CCTV, data technology, data analysis and staff training programs. Review and amend the department's policies & procedures as required.
- Manage and prioritise the Surveillance shift operations and ensure they are focused on gaming & cash handling activities.
- Monitor itrak information data base log entries and Incident reporting for accuracy & completeness.
- Ensure the delivery of effective & timely customer service that meets the requirements of major stakeholders.
- Understanding of risk management, investigations and the detection of illegal activities pursuant to Casinos.
