**About the Role**:
We are looking for **Team Leader **to take the next step in their career to lead quality service delivery within a high-risk service alongside the Service Coordinator.

This role is an opportunity to gain experience and skills to develop your career into future leadership roles. You will be provided significant support, coaching, and mentoring to assist you with your career objectives.

The role will be based in **Morphett Vale **requiring 72 hours of work per fortnight.

In essence, your role as a Team Leader is to ensure the participant achieves their NDIS goals and live a meaningful life. In this role you will report to the Service Coordinator and support with on-site administrative tasks. You will also support the team to implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans and other therapeutic plans consistently and effectively. You will receive significant guidance and support on how to do this from your Service Coordinator. You will be working on site and ensure the team is working in a highly consistent, organised, and structured way to ensure continuity of care.

**A day in this role may include**:

- **Maintaining a Safe Environment**:Your presence and dedication will help ensure that an appropriate level of care, safety and supervision is maintained within a custodial setting. By being there, you will provide the support necessary to create a secure environment.
- **Enhancing Social and Living Skills**:Your guidance will aid in the growth of social and living skills for your participant to enable him/her to engage in meaningful community participation activities.
- **Ensuring the Health and Wellness Needs of the Participant are Met**:You will manage and coordinate the day to day medical and allied health support needs of the participant. Ensuring high levels of coordination between these supports.
- **Supporting Rostering with Backfill Options**:You will be the first line of contact for staff cancelling shifts at late notice. You support rostering with filling these shifts within the scope of your team members.

**Qualifications & Essential Licences**:

- Current 'C Class' Driver's Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or DHS Disability Sector Related Clearance
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current Provide First Aid + CPR Certificate (HLTAID003/HLTAID011 & HLTAID001/HLTAID009)
- Tertiary qualifications in Disability or relevant field, or other relevant qualification and/or demonstrated equivalent experience and expertise to undertake the required duties
- Must satisfy all Visa requirements to work in Australia
- Excellent written and spoken English
