Due to expansion within our leading business, we have an opportunity for a highly motivated and driven professional to join our Production team in the capacity of Ongoing Casual Step-Up Team Leader for our Afternoon Shift.

** The position is an On-going Casual Monday to Thursday starting 1.30pm but flexibility is required with start time and occasional Friday work, with the potential for the position becoming permanent part-time position **

** Weekly roster - work every week, no more "on call" arrangements

**In this role you will be responsible for**:
Supporting the team leader and supporting the team to meet and exceed their performance standards
Mentoring and coaching the team to deliver exceptional quality and results each day
Leading by example in following all company procedures, using safe work practices and setting high safety standards
Assist the team leader with support team members on return-to-work plans
Show strong people management skills and openly communication with team members and management
Assist with conducting scheduled toolbox meetings

**What you need to have**:
Previous experience as a 2IC Team Leader or Line Leader supervising, in a similar food manufacturing factory is highly desirable
The ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
Able to work in a cold environment
The ability to work within strict food quality standards and guidelines
Have a great eye for detail
Excellent communication skills
