**About the Role**

There are two roles available:

- Team Leader CSG Control Room
- Team Leader Cooper Control Room

Based at our Brisbane office, the Control Room Team Leader is accountable for safe operation and optimisation of all equipment remotely.

The role requires leadership and supervision of the production controller team operating gas, oil, and produced water assets. The role is a critical interface for Commercial operations, functional Production Planning & Allocation, field-based Operations, Maintenance, Development and D&C teams.

Accountabilities are delivered in line with the Santos company values and Santos Management System (SMS). Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Lead a team of Production Controllers that operate assets remotely in partnership with field-based teams, in accordance with the agreed strategy to safely maximize production.
- Supporting the Production Controllers to deliver fast remote response to facility and field downtime - both unplanned and planned.
- Ensuring control room processes are compliant with Operations Excellence (OE) standards such as shift handover, alarm management and the implementation of bridges and standing orders.
- Manage the response and escalation of any safety or production critical issues, including daily situational awareness reporting for field-based teams.
- Manage the Production Controller roster ensuring adequate coverage and rotations to the field.
- Development and maintenance of Production Controller competency.
- Interface with engineering teams to support delivery of improvement projects that maximise the use of remote control and control systems.
- Maintain close working relationships and a high level of communication with Commercial operations, functional Production Planning & Allocation, field-based Operations, Maintenance, Development and D&C teams to achieve production and maintenance goals.
- Lead availability and reliability improvements for the remote operation of facility and well lease equipment, including provision of operations feedback to the reliability engineering and development team.
- Use of Santos systems including IRR, myPlant, SAP, EHS Toolbox, Success Factors and Discover.
- Compliance with the Santos Management System (SMS).
- Compliance with the Santos Delegation of Authority (DOA).
- Compliance with the Santos Corporate Governance and Safety requirements.

**About You**

You will be experienced in:

- Production operations or maintenance background
- Strong interpersonal, communication, team and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with site-based operations personnel, engineering and management.
- Demonstrated substantial experience within the oil and gas industry.

Essential qualifications required for this position are:

- Site Safety Manager training
- On Scene Commander training
- Competent in the use of IRR, SAP, Success Factors, Discover, myPlant, EHS Toolbox, Enable
- Proficient word processing skills utilising the MS Office suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
