**THE POSITION**

Due to growth, Wilson Security are seeking multiple Control Room Operators
- across Brisbane CBD.

To be successful, you must be an excellent communicator, love a challenge and have the ability to think quickly on your feet.

**Flexibility across a 24-7 roster is essential**:

- roles will include, 8-12 hr shifts (depending on the site).

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Operate and monitor the CCTV system to identify any issues
- General patrolling duties daily
- Detect signs of a security breach or unusual situations that require immediate attention
- Respond to critical incidents and prepare well-written detailed reports
- Monitor and respond to internal and external alarms
- Interact with key stakeholders including building management, emergency services, client representatives and security officers via phone, radio and intercom systems.
- Take control in day-to-day and emergency situations
- Provide remote access to buildings via building access control systems
- Assist and provide support to the wider team with customer service and administrative tasks as required or as directed by the site supervisor / manager

**Our ideal applicants will have**:

- Previous experience in a fast-paced control room operating environment
- Current QLD Security License
- Certificate in Security Operations
- Current first aid certificate
- Current QLD drivers licence and a reliable vehicle
- **Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays**:

- A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service and a “can-do” attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent computer literacy
- Strong time-management, organisational skills and attention to details
