Policy Support Officer

The Department of Education is seeking a motivated and highly accomplished Policy Support Officer to join our organisation. This is offered on a permanent full-time basis.
**About the Role**:
**As the Policy Support Officer you will**:
- Assist in the implementation, monitoring and reporting of the department's initiatives to support the Path to Treaty and it's Reframing the Relationship plans.
- Contribute to the coordination and support of the department's participation in and responses to the Truth-telling and healing inquiry.
- Monitor progress on plan implementation and report to senior management on various projects, undertake investigation, research and analysis of sensitive and confidential matters as required.
- Coordinate records management activities, including records of incoming correspondence and Right to Information requests and monitor the flow of correspondence.
When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
