What you will do
- Conduct research and analysis into current issues, trends, opportunities, and challenges facing the specific industries and the agriculture sector more broadly.
- Prepare timely, well-researched, and high-quality correspondence, reports, submissions, briefing notes and policy or issues papers as required.
- Support the development of strategic advice on agricultural industry development-related issues and the agricultural sector more broadly.
- Provide support in coordinating departmental events as required.
- Support senior members of the team with discrete policy projects and coordination activities.
- Be able to quickly develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a timely and quality outcome.
