**Why do we need this role?**

Based in
**Melbourne**, the
**Billing Delivery Lead** is a key member of the Commercial Team. The role ensures quality delivery of electricity and gas billing functions and processes critical for accurate and on time billing, to support the portfolio of Powershop’s residential and SME customers.

**Position Accountabilities**:

- Working closely with the Head of Operations, your immediate team and third-party service providers, you are accountable for:

- Ensuring the delivery of billing functions and processes for electricity and gas in accordance with Powershop guidelines, as well as market rules and procedures.
- This includes monthly and quarterly billing, billing adjustments, fees and charges, billing and meter read exception management and service order management (i.e. special reads).
- Proven energy industry experience working within the residential/SME market;
- Billing experience in experience in the Energy industry or equivalent will be highly regarded;
- Ability to manage operational performance objectives and service levels;
- Ability to lead and facilitate meetings and workshops; and
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with external service providers and various internal teams to deliver to agreed targets and achieve business improvements.
