**Your New Role**
Reporting to the Manager, Remediation Case Management, the Remediation Consultant will play a key support role by efficiently meeting the Remediation Management team service deliverables and supporting the evolution of the Remediation Management team’s operating model with its key partners.
The role of Case Manager primarily exists to:
- Manage a portfolio of remediation claims end-to-end through to payment.Represent the Remediation Case Management team as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders to liaise with on remediated death claims matters
**Key duties include but are not limited to**:
- Be the first point of contact for inbound calls and make outbound calls as part of daily duties.
- Support the team in responding to internal and external remediation claim queries and complaints so that remediation claims matters are processed efficiently.
- Lead the review and manage remediation death claim distribution through case management to payment.
- Be a first point of contact for claimants ensuring they are well informed of the remediation claim process and progress; managing their claim with empathy, professionalism and in a timely manner.
- Recommend the distribution of death benefits to the Trustee Delegate in a fair way, taking into account SIS legislation, our Trust Deed and distribution philosophy.
- Ensure successful assessment of any relevant remediation claim.
- Ensure that the Remediation Case Management team appropriately contribute to the ongoing Remediation Case Management continuous improvement.Assist in all remediation work and efforts across the Remediation Management team.
**What You’ll Need**:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to proofread, spelling & English grammar skills.Advanced use of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
**Desirable**:
- Relevant experience in a similar role (with an administrator or in superannuation insurance).
- Excellent organisational abilities to manage tasks according to priority.
- Meticulous attention to detail and pride in performance.
- Ability to work autonomously and pro-actively without supervision and to set own work plan to meet deadlines.
- Ability to identify & drive improved ways of working and present new solutions for discussion.An inner drive and energy to help the team deliver excellent outcomes.
