**Your New Role**

In this 12-month contract you will be reporting to the Senior Manager - Remediation Practice, Quality Assurance and Performance. In this role you will support of the design, development and embedding of a scalable, simple, and repeatable approach to delivering sustainable remediation outcomes for members and the Fund.

The methods, approaches and oversight must fulfill the Fund’s compliance with RG277 and other regulatory obligations along with the Funds Policies and Frameworks. These approaches and methods must accommodate for AustralianSuper’s evolving operating model using a combination of both internal and third-party service providers to successfully complete the remediation activities fulfilling AustralianSuper’s obligations.

Your role is to support the strategy, delivery plan, manage change and successfully transform the way remediation is completed across the Fund. The practices that are introduced will allow AustralianSuper to continue to remediate honestly, efficiently, and fairly.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

- Execute the strategic vision of how remediation is conducted across the Fund that is considerate of the nature and scale of each remediation that is scalable and sustainable.
- Ideate innovative practices that will both uplift the Fund’s ability to remediate and also to validate where third-parties execute on AustralianSuper obligations.
- Source and prioritise the backlog of initiatives to enhance the practices and manage the risk items to completion. Identify and complete use cases for Artificial Intelligence and PowerAutomate to deliver quality at scale.
- Manage feedback loops to produce a never-ending source of continuous improvement. Be the gate keeper for operational readiness.
- Conduct oversight of remediation activities in dispersed business teams.
- Estimate and monitor that Business and Operations have adequate resources and culture to meet the near term and strategic goals and operational plans of AustralianSuper - right people, right place, right skills, at the right time.
- Manage the continuous improvement pipeline, prioritise the delivery of and be the change agent of the agenda.
- Understand the requirements of the Fund and its Members and other stakeholders (e.g. Board, Board Sub-committees, regulators), including the Fund’s strategic and departmental objectives and agreed service levels, to ensure their needs are being met by supplier arrangements (cost, quality and risk).
- Operate and make decisions according to the Fund’s Policies, Standards and Procedures and the Fund’s Key Decision Registers and the delegated authorities.

**What You’ll Need**
- Relevant and recent experience in remediation programs.
- Demonstrated experience being able to progress through ambiguity with a sense of structure and momentum.
- Ability to orientate to key deliverables that require high quality outcomes while being pragmatic and flexible for less critical items.
- Enjoys making the complex simple, variety and is curious about understanding complex issues.
- Ability to display humility with feedback and is prepared to speak up and escalate.
- Experienced in engaging with stakeholders to recommend solutions to complex issues.
- Has a track record of being outcomes and cost focused.
- Ability to work with data to narrate a story and track deliverables delivery.
- Understands the connection between remediation and AustralianSuper’s mission statement.
