About the Role
We are seeking someone who is willing to contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of our school site. We are seeking someone who can work independently and also as team member. You may also be asked to set priorities and meet certain deadlines at times. You will learn how to use & maintain cleaning equipment, materials & chemical supplies. By providing a high level of cleaning support in accordance with the approved school cleaning program, you will become a valued team member of our school.

**You will have responsibility for, but not be limited to**:

- Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
- Our school cleaning team work split shifts. We commence the morning shift at 5am and the end of day shift is completed by 6pm.
- This position being advertised is working a morning shift from 5am to 9am and an afternoon shift 2pm to 6pm Monday to Friday.

Mandatory requirements
When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services. Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
