**The Company**

Our client is a leading engineering firm specializing in servicing the oil & gas and mining industries. Committed to sustainability, they prioritize eco-friendly practices and work closely with clients to develop customized solutions that align with their goals.

Due to an increase in workflow, temporary support is required from an Accounts Payable Officer, for a minimum of 3 months, working in their Balcatta head office.

**The Role**

As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will be working in a finance team of 6, and reporting to the Senior Accountant.

Key responsibilities include:

- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and perform weekly and monthly payment runs
- Reconcile vendor statements and address any issues or discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

**About You**
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable preferably in an end to end capacity
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to handle large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
