**The Company**

Our client is a growing, dynamic company in the Product Manufacturing and Distribution industry experiencing rapid expansion and is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team in the Northern suburbs of Perth. You will report to the Financial Controller and have opportunity for career growth and quick advancement within this high energy department. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable Accounts Payable Officer to grow their career within a company that offers flexibility and the ability to upskill.

**The Role**

Your fit within the role will depend on your proven experience as an Accounts Payable Officer with your key responsibilities including:

- Processing Accounts Payable invoices
- Processing approved invoices, electronic remittance advices, and adhering to appropriate filing after processing
- Obtaining authorization
- Coding the invoices appropriately and accurately
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry
- Managing supplier relationships and resolving any queries involved
- Bank reconciliations of multiple accounts
- Monthly credit card reconciliations
- Setting up new vendors and verifying trade vendor bank information
- Processing weekly payment runs
- Maintaining neat and accurate records
- Any other administrative duties as required from time to time.

**Your Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in an End-to-End Accounts Payable role, or transactional accounts.
- Previous experience with a large ERP system, Pronto is desirable.
- Forward-thinking skills in MS Excel.
- Client focus to provide excellent service to business partners.
- Strong communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of suppliers.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an inquisitive, problem-solving mind.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems as they arise.
- Excellent time management skills, whilst focusing on attention to detail whilst under pressure.

**About You**

You are highly organised, detail oriented, and have a sense of urgency to complete tasks promptly but accurately. You have a flexible outlook and are able to take care of frequent interruptions and changing priorities. You have strong communication, customer service and social skills, especially with contacts from both technical and financial backgrounds. You have the initiative and creative flair to offer innovative solutions to make a positive impact to the Accounts Payable function.
