**Key responsibilities**:

- Assist in the planning and formation of medium to high risk Cloud Service related contracts and ensure compliance with relevant State Government and departmental policies and procedures
- Consult with senior staff and provide advice on complex procurement issues, approvals and prepare reports and recommendations, as required
- Ensure the Project Manager/Budget Holders are provided a quarterly procurement plan/update
- Ensure all procurement documentation is in compliance with State Government and Departmental policies
- Oversee the development of tools such as check lists to ensure compliance of policies and procedures including internal controls
- Serve on forums, committees and working groups, as require
- Verification of invoicing to contract terms and conditions
- Work with the Manager, Project Procurement to complete other duties, as required

**_ Experience required:_**
- Demonstrated experience in ICT procurement and contract management ideally with an understanding of working under the governtment CUA contracts.
- Well-developed written communication and interpersonal skills, including the preparation of procurement and technical documents.
- Ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with a range of stakeholders.
- Good level of conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify and highlight key issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment to achieve goals and objectives.
- Proven ability to plan, prioritise and organise workloads to agreed timeframes.
- Good knowledge of government procurement policies, issues and strategic directions and a working knowledge of IT concepts
