Seeking a Procurement professional with ICT experience, to support a major project within a Government dept

**Your new company**
A major Government health department is seeking an experienced Procurement professional, who demonstrates a confident understanding of ICT goods and services. This role will be offered on an initial temporary engagement for 6-months, with view of extension for the right person. You will be based in an office near Perth CBD, conveniently accessible to public transport.

**Your new role**
As the ICT Procurement Specialist you will be assisting with the role out of a major upcoming project, taking on various duties including:

- Support in planning and formation of contracts and procurement documentation, ensuring compliant with department policies and procedures
- Develop contracts including procurement planning and tender documentation
- Provide specialist advice on contract development and concerns
- Maintain an overview of concurrent procurement activities and appropriately forecasting and prioritising work efforts
- Meet regularly with Vendors and Key Stakeholders to ensure quality outcome
- Adhoc duties required to support the Project Manager

**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered for this role, you will display a sound background as a Procurement specialist. In addition you will demonstrate:

- A confident understanding of ICT goods and services
- Experience working in a senior position leading a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence liaising with stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong digital literacy skills with experience using Microsoft Office Suites

**What you'll get in return**
You will be engaged on an initial 6-month temporary basis, with view of extension for the right person. You will be required to work full-time hours, working in a Government health department based conveniently to public transport.
