**Talent International** is currently recruiting for a **Accounts Officer **to work for a** NSW Government **based in** Parramatta, NSW**.** **The position is **6**-month contract role with the possibility of extension** and are paying **$3**2.99** per hour + Super**.

**Need someone who can start ASAP**

Hours per day / 35 per week job

3 days in the office - 2 days WFH but initially will need 5 days in the office for training (approximately 2 weeks)

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
- Reports organization's finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty, and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- May lead and direct the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
