Job Description
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision and efficiency.
- Reconcile invoices, receipts, and statements to ensure accurate financial records.
- Maintain and update financial systems and databases in line with company policies.
- Prepare and process payments, including EFT and cheques, in a timely manner.
- Respond to internal and external queries regarding payment and billing issues.
- Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients to ensure timely collections.
- Collaborate with the broader accounting and finance team to maintain compliance and streamline processes.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer Should Have
- Experience in accounts payable, receivable, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices within the property industry.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and resolve queries.
