KPMG’s Resource Management team play a vital role in driving the efficient and effective use of our teams to optimise productivity and profitability. As trusted business advisors, the team is responsible for the allocation of individuals to upcoming projects based on required skill sets and sector experience.
We’re seeking an extraordinary individual to join our Melbourne Audit and Assurance Resource Management Team. You’ll work collaboratively to achieve the best results for your stakeholders and our clients. You’ll have the opportunity to work with interesting people in a dynamic environment where no two days will feel the same Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you’re well-equipped for success in your role.
**Your Opportunity**
**You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Resource Management strategies across the Melbourne team. In this role, you will**:
- Provide resource options to business stakeholders, considering offshore resources and engagement staff mix.
- Identify and resolve resource conflicts, negotiating with engagement managers and reallocating resources as needed.
- Proactively follow up on key items that may impact scheduling accuracy and ensure swift resolution.
- Serve as a key point of contact for resourcing issues, acting as an ambassador for the Resource Management function.
- Proactively redeploy and manage available staff, collaborating with the relevant Resource Management team to identify opportunities.
- Support the Resource Manager with firm-wide projects, contributing to broader strategic initiatives.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of divisional skill sets and the career and development needs of resources to inform project allocation decisions.
