**About this role**:
We’re looking for a Senior Technical Business Analysts to join a leading national retailer for an initial 6-month project to work closely with both the functional team (Solution office) and the Solution Architects, to provide a technical solution design which will be used as a blueprint by the developers when they build and implement the system integration and overall solution.

In this role, you’ll:

- Interpret the Functional User Stories into a Business Functional Specification
- Write the Technical narrative including:

- Detailed technical requirements which meet the needs of the functional user stories
- Data mapping and transformation logic
- Identification of system APIs, webhooks/triggers required for integration between core systems
- Interpretation of system data feeds into reporting requirement

Attractive daily rates, depending on experience. The role is on a flexible work arrangement, mostly remote unless required to visit the head office.

**To be successful, you must have**:

- Technical experience with API integration using Swagger
- Full working rights in Australia
- Sound BA skills including requirements gathering and documentation
- Experience working on large digital projects with ability to multi-task
- Significant experience and understanding of fast-paced Agile product delivery
- Experience as a tech-focused BA an advantage
- Proven track record of translating business requirements into user stories
- Experience facilitating workshops
- Knowledge of design-based thinking and human-centred design principles
- Experience working with UI / UX teams to translate wireframes into user stories
- Previous experience using Jira and confluence
- User flow or process mapping skills

**Desirable**:

- Sound eCommerce knowledge and experience
- Retail logistics knowledge and experience
