Invitation for an Expression of Interest for membership of the EIT Academic Board.

The Academic Board is a key organizational component of the governance structure of EIT. With responsibility for both Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Higher Education (HE), the Academic Board has oversight of curriculum development and review, and all policies and procedures relating to learning and teaching. It regularly monitors student progress including students at risk, reviews student feedback, and endorses graduands for approval by the Governance Board.

The membership of the Academic Board includes academic staff student representatives and independent members with relevant academic and/or industry expertise. An orientation to new members is provided by the Chair and secretariat of the Board.

**What you can expect**:
Up to four board meeting per calendar year.
Meetings are scheduled for up to two hours depending on the level of discussion and debate.
Members are paid an honorarium of AUD$600.00 for attendance and participation in the meetings.
Occasionally there is an out of session item of business that requires the attention of, and advice from, all members.

Invitation for an Expression of Interest for Courses Advisory Committee Member.

We’re inviting individuals with engineering industry or academic experience to express their interest in joining our Course Advisory Committee. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and management of our courses, ensuring they remain current, relevant and aligned with professional, industry and disciplinary directions.

As a member, you’ll review course data, advise on course alignment with engineering trends, and contribute to course development. Members will be selected based on need, committee diversity composition and fit to the upcoming course for review. The committee meets several times a year to discuss and review progress. This is a unique opportunity to influence our engineering courses, gain valuable experience, and network with professionals. If interested, please share your qualifications, experience, and the unique value you can bring to our committee.

**What you can expect**:
Four to six meeting per calendar year. Meetings are scheduled for up to 1.5 hours depending on the level of discussion and debate.
Members are paid an honorarium of AUD$150.00 for attendance and participation in the meetings.
Occasionally there is an out of session item of review that requires the attention of, and advice from, all members.
