Hays is assisting in the recruitment of a Board Manager for a State Government client.

**Your new company**
A State Government department is seeking a Board Manager to commit to a 6 month temporary contract starting as soon as possible.

**Your new role**
This role is responsible for:

- Provides professional and management support to the Board Chair, Board members, Chief Executive and Board Committees
- The effective and professional management of all Executive and Board Committee business
- Provides high level Secretariat support for the compilation of all Board Committee and Executive agendas
- Minutes and reports

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role you must have have the following experience:

- Demonstrated high level of knowledge and experience of management secretariat role, working closely with a board and/or executive team.
- High-level organisational and administrative
- Work effectively with multiple stakeholders from differing backgrounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult and negotiate
