One of Australia's most prominent Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced **Workforce Planner **to align workforce needs with the organisation’s business strategy and major program requirements. The successful **Workforce Planner **will be** **offered a** contract for initially 12 months partnered with a 12 month extension.**

The successful** Workforce Planner/ Workforce Specialist **will be responsible for the below:

- Work closely with major programs to develop workforce requirements for ongoing mission management of programs and projects.
- Identify and provide guidance to managers on issues and gaps in resourcing and develop and implement business as usual and strategic workforce initiatives
- Develop or contribute to the production of complex briefing materials and workforce reporting

The successful **Workforce Planner/ Workforce Specialist **will have experience in the following:

- Using contemporary workforce planning practices to develop and implement complex workforce plans
- Experience using tools such as PowerBI for workforce reporting
- Implementing data visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar commercially available tools
