They offer a full-service approach to film production and content creation that extends from creative direction, scripting, production, film direction, cinematography, sound, and post-production.

**About the Role**

The General Manager will work closely with the Creative Director, and will have primary responsibility for day-to-date studio operations, managing project workflow, supporting, and leading the creative team, and optimising resources

They will support the Creative Director to develop business strategy, expand client relationships and seek new opportunities.

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly-successful studio, in a newly created role

Please note that it is required that you hold a current valid Victorian Driver’s License and can travel autonomously with full-time access to a vehicle.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee day-to-day studio operations, ensuring effective and efficient workflow management, cost control, and quality assurance.
- Support the Creative Director in developing and executing business strategies, including expanding client relationships and pursuing new opportunities for growth.
- Lead and mentor a team of creative professionals, managing their performance, conducting annual reviews, and facilitating recruitment and onboarding.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop strategies for lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth through new product and services

**Skills & Experience**
- Bachelor degree in Film & Television, Screen Media, Marketing & Communications, Business/Commerce, or other related field
- 5+ years’ experience leading a team; with demonstrated people management skills (ideally in a creative industry)
- 10+ years of related experience in agency or corporate setting
- Operations management experience
- Strong commercial and financial acumen; incl. experience preparing & managing budgets, expenses, cash flow, forecasts
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong level of comfort interacting with clients and industry professionals.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Sound knowledge of the design and production process.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
