
Technology Support Lead

The Technology Support Lead is responsible for the team leadership and operational delivery of the support activities of the Technology Services group. In addition to providing comprehensive technology support services for Stadiums Queensland's day-to-day venue and corporate activities, the Technology Support Lead will also be responsible for ensuring event preparation and event day support services are delivered to a high standard.
- The role will require on-site attendance at events and inclusion in an on-call support roster.
**Key tasks include**:
- Coordinate the delivery of exceptional technical support for SQ's computers, office equipment, desktop software, telephony platforms, data networks and key venue systems in day-to-day, event preparation and event support modes.
- Provide guidance to the Technology Support Officers in resolving complex issues and work to ensure the Technology Support Officers have adequate training, capability and tools to resolve complex technical and event support issues.
- Ensure client support requests are serviced in a timely and efficient manner, across all modes of operation.
- Participate in, and coordinate the planning of, on-call and on-site event support activities for the organisation.
- Provide quality advice to the leadership team on the issues associated with the installation / use of bump-in event systems, e.g. event activations, ticketing services, etc. and the impact these may have on venue operations.
- Be responsible for the creation of relevant KPI reporting metrics for analysis by the Technology Services leadership team and escalating identified issues where necessary
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and provide quick work-around solutions (when required) across a broad range of technical services.
