As the
**Technical Services Manager**, you would be responsible for solution development, technical design, build and deployment, including mentorship and coaching of technical staff and customers at handover time.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ability to scope and manage projects.
- Preparation and maintenance of operational documentation to support deployments and solutions
- Assist in opportunities and RFTs requiring technical focus, solution design and support
- Training and mentorship of other technical staff.
- Responsible for balancing time and effort between projects, deployments, technical investigations and operational needs
- Develop Solution and Technical Architecture, Bill of Materials, and the development of best-of-breed solutions for new and existing customers
- Identify ways of streamlining current process to drive down operational costs, and/or enhance the customer experience
- Show leadership and passion for technology, possessing and developing SME skills in technical systems.
- Outstanding customer relationship management and development skills.
- Ability to design, document and deliver complex technical solutions that align platforms and compliance requirements, whilst delivering customer outcomes

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Experience in related systems engineering & consulting roles
- Demonstrated experience deploying and administering Hypervisor solutions utilising Nutanix or Hyper-V
- Experience with Microsoft Server technologies
- Experience working with and implementing DevOps methods
- Experience implementing security controls to adhere to or achieve compliance with ISO27001, ISM and/or IS:18
- Experience with disaster recovery, replication, and backup solutions
- Ideally experience in project management and consulting roles
- Ideally experience working with mission critical systems in a regulated environment
- Experience with Cisco routers & switches or comparable enterprise networking hardware
- Routing e.g. OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
- Firewalls and security e.g. Cisco ASA/FirePower, F5 BIG-IP, Fortinet, VLAN/VRF, network segmentation
- Switching e.g. Cisco ACI, spine & leaf, multi-site Layer 2
- Ideally experience implementing Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure
- Ideally experience with public cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure / Amazon AWS / Google GCP and connectivity solutions
- Experience with the following technologies:

- Microsoft Office 365 & Exchange Server
- F5, Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto
- Nutanix, Hyper-V, VMware
- Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB
- NetApp, Dell EMC, Nimble or other storage
- Veeam, CommVault
- Splunk, Log Rhythm
