The Business Support Officer is required to provide assistance in delivering remuneration services to Members of Parliament, including administration of a range of allowances and entitlements in accordance with accountability provisions set out in the Members' Remuneration Handbook.

**Duties and Responsibilities include**:

- Provide advice and assistance to Members and Parliamentary Service staff regarding the administrative requirements of the Members' Remuneration Handbook and the Parliamentary Service Staff Travel Policy;
- Liaise with Members, Parliamentary Service staff and travel service providers to coordinate official travel requirements in accordance with the Members' Remuneration Handbook; and
- Provide a range of financial and administrative support activities including:

- Prepare and verify travel invoices/statements prior to payment
- Prepare and check travel claims
