**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As an HR Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of HR operations. This includes liaising with various stakeholders, maintaining accurate HR records, and undertaking a range of background checks. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to support the company's mission of serving people in need and enriching lives.
**DUTIES**
- Ensure timely and accurate support for People and Culture, including compliance with criminal history records, right-to-work checks, and working with children checks.
- Track new starter and contract change documentation through to completion as part of the onboarding process.
- Maintain accurate entry of HR-related data.
- Provide necessary information, reports, and support to managers for legislative compliance.
- Complete general administrative duties to a high standard, including phones, filing, record-keeping, and purchasing.
- Project a professional image by responding to inquiries, taking messages, and attending to stakeholders with excellence in customer service.
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**
To be successful, you need to possess a keen eye for detail and a proven ability to efficiently tackle large backlogs. You are comfortable with repetitive tasks, proficient in working with systems, and have strong HR administration experience. Additionally, you are known as someone who is diligent, team-oriented, focused, and collaborative, aligning seamlessly with the company's culture.
- A proven track record of diligence and effective time management.
- Demonstrated expertise in tasks such as drafting separation letters, issuing employment contracts, and updating HR files, showcasing dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficient in working with systems and comfortable with repetitive tasks.
- Experience with NDIS and an understanding of probity checks is an advantage.
