One of Australia’s largest not-for-profit organisations is seeking an HR Administrator to join their dynamic, collaborative team for an initial 2 month contract to start immediately. The Human Resources Administrator position sits within the People and Culture team, who service the people-related requirements of the staff and management across the organisation, and also provides HR/ER advice and support.
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, this role will provide support to the Human Resources team and act as the first point of contact for HR related queries from employees. This diverse and busy position will also play a key role in maintaining the administrative functions of HR and assist with generalist HR activities.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Coordination and tracking of requests for service and support, and reporting internally and to consumers of services
- Managing the entirety of the onboarding and offboarding process
- End to end contracts administration including drafting, issuing and recording letters of offer,
- variation letters and other employment letters
- Act as first point of contact for the Human Resources team by triaging the team inbox, answering employee queries and escalating to other team members when requiredContinue
- Maintain the Employee Files and the Human Resources site on the Electronic Data Records Management System
- Conducting employment checks and maintaining details in Preceda
- Manage and maintain accurate and up to date HR documents and employee data
- Assist with HR Projects as required
Tertiary qualified in Human Resources or a related field, you will present with 1 to 2 years’ experience working in an HR-related support role and have strong administration skills. You have a highly proactive and organised approach and the confidence to deal with a broad range of stakeholders at different levels.
With high level interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, you have advanced administrative, stakeholder management skills and excellent attention to detail.
