**The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne** is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Lounge & Bar Manager to support the Lounge & Bar Manager in the daily operations of The Ritz-Carlton Lobby Lounge & Cameo Bar. This role is perfect for an individual who excels in a luxury environment, collaboratively ensuring that the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction are consistently met. You will assist Lounge & Bar Manager in overseeing shift operations, supervising employees, and maintaining inventory controls and achieving operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support Lounge & Bar Manager in managing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service across shifts.
- Assist in rostering, leading, training, and motivating the lounge and bar team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Help implement strategies to enhance revenue and guest engagement under the guidance of the Lounge & Bar Manager.
- Assist with beverage control, including inventory management, cost control, and adherence to portion standards.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal beverage and liquor regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in collaboration with the Lounge & Bar Manager, ensuring positive outcomes.
- Work closely with the culinary team to assist in developing and promoting food and beverage pairings.
- Assist in monitoring financial performance, helping to adjust operations to meet budgetary goals.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, supporting teamwork and professional growth.
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.

**About You**:

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Full-time working rights required.
- RSA Certificate required.
- Experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end bar is highly desirable.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the Lounge & Bar Manager.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining luxury service excellence and attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality service.
