**Information Management Officer (Fixed term)**
- The Information Management Officer plays a key role in enabling EPA staff to access critical information and records.
- Successful performance in this position will have a state-wide impact.
- Ensuring that EPA consistently captures, stores and manages its information is the basis of robust environmental protection in Victoria.

**About the organisation**

We're an independent statutory authority, established in 1971 and have undergone the biggest transformation in our history when the _Environment Protection Act 2017_ came into effect on 1 July 2021. The new Act requires us to change our approach to become a world class regulator, using new powers and tools to prevents risk to the environment and human health.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Senior Information Management Officer, the Information Management Officer is a member of a team responsible for the implementation and support of organisation-wide information management aligned to EPA's strategic priorities.

This is an exciting role for an experienced information / records management professional who wants to extend their own professional experience, and contribute to the success of the EPA as it enters a new era of environmental protection in Victoria.

You'll have an important role in maintaining EPA's Information Asset Register, and also in administering the organisation's Information Protections Agreement with VicRoads.

**About you**
- You have a proven record of achievement in a similar role, and demonstrated ability to work as an effective member of a team.
- You have a comprehensive background in information and records management, preferably including relevant qualifications.
- Your stakeholder engagement skills ensure acceptance of your ideas across the business. Clear verbal and written communication assist end users seeking support and training.
- Your methodical approach to implementing procedure and your eye for detail helps you support users to comply with critical information access agreements.
