As a Service Market Manager, Segment Solutions, you will be responsible for supporting the local Business Unit/Product Group by focusing on defining and implementing marketing and sales strategies specifically aimed at developing into markets, segments, or other strategic areas not currently defined. Ensuring the definition of the business plan, annual marketing plans, and marketing strategies according to budget. Reporting to Country Marketing & Sales Manager, generating medium to long term Service Sales opportunities within the designated area(s). Focusing on installed base penetration (IB) and sell the entire Service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB service units. Building long term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Contributing to local ELSE division’s strategy definition and execution through the analysis and identification of new markets, segments and/or product solutions.
- Analyzing customer needs for the portfolio, securing customer advantages and benefits as well as white spot analysis and connected strategies to penetrate the market. Developing and implementing business strategies for newly defined areas in alignment with the Business Unit/Product Group strategy.
- Providing market intelligence analyses in support of identification and development of new markets, segments, or solutions. Participating in internal work groups in order to share know-how, processes, and market information.
- Identifying, leading, or contributing to identification and acquisition opportunities to expand into the newly defined area. Collaborating with all related internal contacts to ensure alignment, efficiency, and effectiveness in the implementation of the commercial strategy.
- Coordinating product marketing launch development plans and ensures efficient and effective execution together with the Area and Regional Manager.
- Identifying partnership opportunities and participates in the definition of partnerships agreements together with local Business Unit.
- Participating in planning and implementation of customer events and trade shows.
- Ensuring budget (volumes) and profitable growth targets are achieved in the respective countries and for all assigned Product Groups. Ensuring achievement of targets on orders, net price variance (NPV), Net Promoter Score (NPS), etc.

**Your background**:

- Solid Sales and marketing understanding.
- Ability to quickly learn ABB products/systems.
- Significant sales drive focus energy to achieve and close profitable deals.
- Excellent skills in Customer relations with mature selling behavior and actively drive discussions and negotiations.
- Good knowledge in contract and risk management.
- Understand and use sales processes and related tools.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and relate to ABB.
- Ability to identify customer service needs and to match those with ABB service offerings.
- Ability to find innovative solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Ability to accurately estimate costs of service offerings.
- Takes steps to share and leverage cooperation and knowledge across the organization.
