We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Systems Analyst** to join our professional team based in Melbourne who can fill this role on a **12-month fixed term basis.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
This role will help evaluate processes and methods used in existing ICT systems, proposes modifications, additional system components or new systems to meet user needs as expressed in specifications and other documentation.
The Systems Analyst at Kapsch, you will be responsible for Kapsch's technical offer according to the portfolio of corporate solutions and alliances that are developed in the areas of tolling and urban mobility. Relationship with clients to contribute to the development of their strategy with practical knowledge in toll and/or traffic areas (ITS).
**Tasks Include the following**:
Manage the portfolio of regional solutions:
- Identify and develop alliances
- Work with users to formulate and document business requirements
- Manage the transfer of knowledge from the portfolio to the region
- Identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behaviour
- Responsible for deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system
Proactively collaborate in local and global pre-sales and sales activities:
- Work closely and aligned with the sales, Bid & proposal and systems integration team, actively and proactively visiting clients, to detect and develop opportunities
- Identify, investigate, and analyse business processes, procedures and work practices
- Identify and analyze our clients' requirements and translate them into solutions
- Create user and training documentation, and conducting formal training classes
- Proposals and support activities (local/regional)
- Responsible for the technical offer, ensuring the technical and commercial caution of the solutions
- Using project management methodologies, principles and techniques to develop project plans and to cost, resource and manage projects
- Identify and develop business models
- Support sales processes
A Bachelor’s Degree or higher qualification
At least five years of relevant experience within the ITS Industry or similar industry
Experience working alongside Centres of Excellence like Solution Consulting, Products and Services
Able to work to work flexibly, onsite or remote.

Pay: $73,150.00 - $75,000.00 per year
