THE ROLE
The Systems Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Human Services Regulator (HSR) towards data driven decision making and will also provide advice and input into the development of systems as part of the establishment of the new Social Services Regulator.
HSR uses a risk-based intelligence led approach to protect the safety and rights of children, young people and adults experiencing vulnerability. The Systems Analyst is responsible for improving data quality of our data sources by performing data quality checks and creating reports and other analytical products. The data and system administrator activities are related to two large databases and a number of other data sources containing data on the entities we regulate.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide advice and input related to data and systems issues relevant to the establishment of the Social Services Regulator.
- Administer user access to HSR's database and provide technical support for database users as required.
- Perform regular database access audits to ensure appropriate off boarding of users.
