Our highly valued client is a federal government agency, who are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to analyse and document technical and functional requirements for systems, infrastructure, data and security.
- Port Melbourne location
- Daily rate range fully negotiable
- 12 month initial contract plus 12 month extension

**The role**
As a Systems Analyst your responsibilities will include:

- Requirements elicitation, including interviews and workshop facilitation, process mapping and analysis, and use case development
- understand and document the unique requirements for their ICT environment
- ensure future changes consider ICT cyber security
- ensure data is appropriately classified and managed
- assist in clarifying roles and responsibilities for effective ICT support

**Skills and experience**
To succeed in this role you will need:

- Proven experience eliciting required technical detail (requirements /system design) from various stakeholders, including those with mínimal ICT knowledge
- Experience facilitating user interviews and developing business scenarios, process maps and use cases
- Proven experience working autonomously in small and large teams
- Highly effective time, workload, and priority management
- Highly effective presentation, documentation, and communication skills
- Hands-on technical knowledge of Windows based client server and cloud environments
- Experience with delivery in an ITIL aligned organisation
- Technical account management experience
