About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers a blend of traditional bookkeeping responsibilities and modern financial software management, working directly with our accountant and directors to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Software Management
- Proficient use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (advantages)
- Process and manage General Ledger entries including rent, rates, and freight (invoices)
- Daily bank and credit card reconciliations (assisting accountant)
- General journal processing
- Accounts Payable
- Monthly AP reconciliation
- Process invoices, credit notes for payment processing by accountant
- Liaise with purchasing department and branches regarding invoice queries
- Process credit card payments for minor invoices
- Clear unallocated payments
- Accounts Receivable
- Process customer credit card payments
- Send payment reminders
- Clear unallocated payments
- Establish new AR accounts and manage trade references
- Administrative Support
- Coordinate company vehicle service bookings
- Maintain leave calendar for HR/accountant
- Assist accountant with ad hoc duties as required

Required Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in customer service and accounts management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
