Location: Melbourne Street Office, North Adelaide

Hours: 4 days per week (Part-Time)

Veitch Pty Ltd is a growing and dynamic accounting practice known for delivering high-quality service and advice to our clients. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our close-knit team on a part-time basis (4 days per week) from our Melbourne Street office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes for our clients

  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and supplier statements

  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Xero

  • Assist with preparation of BAS and other compliance reporting

  • Support monthly account reconciliations and reporting

  • Maintain and file supporting documentation for all financial transactions

  • Liaise with clients and suppliers as required regarding account queries

About You:

  • Previous bookkeeping experience is essential

  • Proficient in Xero accounting software

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities
