We are seeking a passionate and experienced person to play a pivotal role in supporting the continued success of the business. Proven bookkeeping experience coupled with a passion for numbers and eye for detail will enable you to showcase your ability and work closely with senior management.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- General business administration
- Preparation of progress claims
- Reporting costs
- Oversee the company's finance and including payroll, accounts payable and receivable. Facilitating payroll
- Managing and taking ownership of the accounting department
- Streamline processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage all bill payments and customer invoicing, especially monthly.
- Handle end-to-end bookkeeping processes, such as bank reconciliation and payroll processing.
- Analyse and prepare monthly financial reports (i.e., Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet).
- Process AP supplier invoices and payments.
- Process and issue AR invoices
- Maintain accurate costing for stock purchases.
- Ensure timely lodgement of statutory requirements (i.e., BAS/IAS/Superannuation).
- Undertake supplier statement reconciliations.
- Follow up overdue debtors.
- Provide a timely and high-level of customer service to clients.
- Prepare month-end expenditure and revenue accruals.
- Keeping track of credits owed to the company.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, MYOB, and CRM tools.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in bookkeeping and award payroll
- Able to understand Currency Exchange.
- Solid grounding in accounting payroll.
- Experience in data entry and adept computer operation.
- Police Check
- Proficiency with MYOB
- Solid experience with P&L reporting monthly
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday, no weekends.
Hours of work are generally 9:00am-4:00pm

**Salary**: $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 4 years (required)
- MYOB: 1 year (preferred)
- Xero: 1 year (preferred)
