You will work within a high performing team at a leading Defence contractor

**Your new role**

You will assist the manufacturing buyers and contribute to the ability to meet the internal and external customers expectations with suitable suppliers at the right price to ensure the timely delivery of goods or services. You will play a key role in keeping purchasing administration tasks up to date with various parties to ensure the efficient execution of the procurement activities. You will also support the manufacturing buyers on the tactical day to day engagement with suppliers on purchase orders.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Good supply base knowledge and understanding of the supply market dynamics
- Ability to develop internal and supplier relationships
- Professional use of commercial contracts and general terms and conditions
- Knowledge of Just-in-Time production
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills

**What you'll get in return**

- $47.29 per hour + Super
