**About the company**
This client is Australia's foremost creative planners, who adopt an entrepreneurial mindset to foster the development of superior cities. There expertise extends to both urban and rural environments, encompassing beaches, countryside and bushland. They are seeking a Graduate Communications and Engagement Officer to join their team.
**Day to day activities**
- Support project leads on various projects in Sydney and NSW
- Attend and assist with consultation and engagement activities
- Write communication materials such as social media posts and web copy
- Conduct data analysis and provide initial insights to recommendations
- Learn best practice engagement techniques including in-person and virtual facilitation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and work to tight deadlines
- Great interpersonal skills
- A flair for managing up
- Previous work experience (preferred)
- Communications degree or similar (preferred)
- Familiarity with best practice engagement frameworks such as IAP2 (preferred)
- Excel proficiency (preferred)
- Ability to speak or have a background in a language or culture other than English (preferred)
- Confidence in ability to research and summarise findings under time pressure.
