**About the Company**

This is a leading Government Agency based in the Parramatta who are seeking an Communications and Engagement Officer to develop and implement communications strategies to build and maintain the organisation's image and reputation with its customers, investors and the wider public.

**About the role**

Reporting into the Senior Manager Community Engagement.

**Day to day activities**
- Utilizing your extensive knowledge of communication tools, both print and electronic, to create, coordinate and implement all aspects of internal and external communication.
- Ensure that the communication that goes out to the external public delivers a consistent and a suitable message
- Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Extensive experience in delivering creative and effective communications strategies
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills, and a mature, unwavering approach
- 4 years' or more relevant experience as a Communication officer
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management, including stakeholders of all levels within the organization
- Extensive experience in the design and delivery of communication materials
- Extremely high energy, tenacity, resilience, capacity to keep going under pressure, work ethic and initiative
