An opportunity to join a local council on an initial 6-month assignment as an EPMO Lead **Your new company** A Local Council dedicated to servicing their diverse community in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne and who are consistently growing. Due to an influx of exciting upcoming projects, this council is seeking an experienced EPMO Lead to join their team on an initial 6-month assignment. This position will be instrumental in guiding staff through utilising the EPMO framework within the council. **Your new role** As an EPMO Lead for this Council, your responsibilities will include: - Provide support and guidance for council’s EPMO framework across the organisation - Coordinating EPMO reporting and analysis to determine potential issues and areas for improvement - Working with Local Government stakeholders to ensure frameworks works effectively across Council - Utilising the software platform to optimise processes and assist the project managers with risk management and project processes - Organising and running workshops across the organisation to promote the EPMO framework, including risk mitigation. **What you'll need to succeed** To be successful in this role, you will have: - Proven experience working in EPMO and managing projects - Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management or Engineering or Architecture or relevant field - Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills - Advanced MS Office skills and a strong understanding of PPM software highly desirable - Strong time management skills and able to effectively multitask **What you'll get in return** - $100 - $125 per hour + Super - Flexible work arrangements (hybrid working conditions) - Excellent team culture - Opportunity to join a growing Local Council **What you need to do now** If this role isn't quite right for you and would like to hear more about other opportunities, please reach out for a confidential discussion about your career.
