One of our best public sector clients dedicated to the community and delivering ambitious infrastructure projects now requires a PMF Development Lead to join the Infrastructure division on an initial 3-month assignment with opportunities for extension. In this position, you will be instrumental in ensuring project risks and costs are actively managed while working with an established framework, championing consistency and effectiveness across the organisations program of Capital works with projects ranging across building assets, upgrades, open space and major refurbishments and new builds. Be a facilitator of change, promoting greater efficiencies by enhancing the PMF

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Capital Works Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Implementing, maintaining, and developing the Project Management Framework for all relevant users across the Infrastructure and Capital works division
- Monitoring and reporting on key metrics
- Utilising Excel, Word, MS Project, and relevant platforms to further develop the framework and ensure project risks are captured and managed appropriately
- Evaluating the effectiveness of the framework using a range of audit findings, best practice methodologies and regulatory requirements
- Working closely with management to set up operational processes and robust review structures

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience working as a PMF professional, EPMO or PMO Project Manager, Analyst or Lead (Capital works, Project Management
- Buildings & Construction desirable)
- Experience in Project Management methodologies, tools, and best practice
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline
- Government experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and lead others
- Strong computer literacy skills with use of MS Project, Excel, Word
